Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients (with quantities):

    👉 500g all-purpose flour
    👉 50g granulated sugar
    👉 5g salt
    👉 7g instant yeast
    👉 Vanilla extract
    👉 2 large eggs
    👉 275ml milk
    👉 50g unsalted butter, softened
    👉 150g butter, semi-melted
    👉 225g brown sugar
    👉 15g ground cinnamon
    👉 100g cream cheese
    👉 25g powdered sugar
    👉 50g heavy cream
    👉 5g vanilla extract

Instructions:

👨‍🍳 1) In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the flour, sugar, salt, instant yeast, and a splash of vanilla extract. Mix well.

👨‍🍳 2) Add the eggs, milk, and softened butter to the dry ingredients. Mix on low speed until the dough comes together.

👨‍🍳 3) Increase the speed to medium-high and knead the dough for 7-10 minutes until it becomes elastic, shiny, and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.

👨‍🍳 4) Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.

👨‍🍳 5) After resting, roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.

👨‍🍳 6) In a separate bowl, mix the semi-melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon to make the cinnamon filling.

👨‍🍳 7) Spread the cinnamon filling evenly over the rolled-out dough.

👨‍🍳 8) Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut it into 15 equal pieces.
